Skallywag Bay Park
The Skallywag Bay Theme park was designed to create a naturally forested area to complement its location on the Chaguaramas peninsular.
Trees and shrubs were randomly spaced and planted to create a leaning and crooked effect. Additionally, the plants used were placed informally and tangled along the semi-formal walkway edges. The mass planting of the ground covers & border plants, around the park, was done to mimic the low flora synonymous with a drive through our natural rain forested areas.
Finally, the choice of plants within the design were those suitable for the coastal environment which borders the park.
